I have officiated in some form or another in 9 countries, and believe me, despite using a different language, players will be players whatever they speak!
Generally speaking, from what I know of people coming/going it goes like this:
If your English and you transfer to Wales, your level will be the same (converted to the Welsh system, but of same standing)
If your Welsh and transfer to England, your level will be 'degraded'.
A level 3A in Wales...
Its difficult to say, but in the beginning, I always aimed for as fit as I was as a player, then a little bit more.
Remember that in theory you should be running for longer/higher intensity than any player :P
Never liked him. Don't rate him as a manager or a person. His team deserved to lose, there were some 'controversial decisions', and its all the referees fault... Grow up. Don't even get me started on Gary Monk...
I love the "I'm a ref myself, I know what its like..." :rolleyes: conversation. If its a red, its a red, if its a yellow, its a yellow, regardless of wether they are a 'referee' or not. (Most are not real referees, and if they are, they should know better :P )

I was put on the line in OA football before taking charge on my own, I found that helped a lot. Particularly in matches where you can be the junior AR with no bench to look out for.
My initial reaction would be, if this guy thats younger than me is knowledgeable enough to assess me and to criticise me and offer advice, then why is he assessing and not refereeing?
