How about a £40,000 retainer instead?

    Everton vs City

Ermmmm, even as a city fan I thought that was handball. Tierney in the middle and Kavanagh on VAR again...

    Brentford vs Newcastle

Just seen someone say this wasn't a red on the bbc live feed:confused:. Although it was originally given as a free kick against Newcastle.

    Covid

I have just been re-infected with Covid, however you no longer have to self-isolate in England (it's only advised). Was wondering if you had Covid, would you still be refereeing or would stay at home. Personally, I have made both teams aware of the situation and if they don't feel comfartable...

    Arsenal v Wolves

Talked about it in another thread recently but we all know the caution for time wasting would be in 89th minute or later, it’s happening earlier (in elite level football)

    Leeds v Man Utd

Every fan know that no EPL/EFL referee is booking a player until the 89th minute. So frustratingly predictable

Piejax Wonder if they have 'fat' referees

    PGMOL/EA Sports coin

Looks old school, it has the old epl and efl badge, so it's unlikely that you'll find it new. Best bet is probably ebay and just keep on checking

    Wrexham vs Wealdstone

95th minute equaliser, took me a while to see what was wrong and I am certain that I wouldnt have noticed this in game. Does anyone think they would have realised in real time?

    Foul Throws

Yhh that guy was a plum tho

    Man City Vs Tottenham

Another different one. Totenham had a free kick towards the end of the game. After a minute of stoppages due to injury, Lloris decides to take the free kick instead of Romero (ie time wasting). Does the lotg specify which player should receive the card in this situation?

    Foul Throws

Yep, must be. Mentioned in the other thread that it was good to see a foul throw given in the epl

    Man City Vs Tottenham

Was good to see a foul throw given as well. Can’t remember the last time I saw that in an epl game

    Aldi value VAR

Surely they're gonna need a sh*tload of referees and ARs if they have VAR for each game in the EFL (I assume you mean EFL not EPL). 3 referees per game (middle, 4O, VAR) and 3 liners per game (2AR, AVAR). Where is the manpower coming from? Is it feasible that they could have VAR officials...

    Two yellows for 1 foul?

Is it possible to receive two yellows for the same foul, ie SPA and reckless

    Newcastle vs Aston Villa

Wall seems to be somewhat in line with penalty spot and trippier is taking his free kick just inside the D, so the villa players should be pretty much alright. Newcastle players seem quite close to the villa wall tho

    One extra player

No league tables at this age group, it isn’t competitive. Subbing off a player means one less kid is playing rather than one more kid playing when allowing an extra person on the pitch
