Entered an Extraordinary report on the WGS, contacted the County RDO and had a reply saying I've done the correct thing. Done all I can do from my perspective. Thanks for the advice all!

Can I retrospectively add a WGS report? At the time I submitted mine, I didn't know about what has been alleged.

I didn't hear it (or the other insult) I honestly don't want my first card to be shown at this age group (I've asked coaches to take players off before but I haven't encountered an OFFINABUS scenario yet), but if I had heard it I think I would have shown him red.

I only meant that if the ref wasn’t aware that the other team were having a drinks break (or whatever they were doing) they might at least bring it to their attention. Makes it more likely that the ref knew exactly what was happening and still allowed it.

Yeah it was a sliced kick by a teammate and caught him in the cheek / temple from close range so definitely not intentional. Other team were fine with it. It was his own team's spectators that were complaining, which is what I found bizarre... It was their player with a potential injury!:wall:

Not with the arms seems fairly obvious, but not with the body? How else could a player hold another player off? Is this not how defenders shield a ball going out of play?

No I understand that, but I would find it much harder to send player off for calling a teammate a pillock, than I would if it were aimed at myself.

Thanks all. With hindsight I’m now wondering if the player could have meant his teammate who had just got himself sin-binned was the ‘pillock’ as he was also near the ref at the time of the nod. I guess when it comes to OFFINABUS we have to be very certain that it is directed at us.
