    And they're never wrong 🥱

    United spurs.

Yes it is. If this isn't "C&O" then we accept a SFP decision is never going to be overturned this season. Fine. I look forward to this consistent approach.

    Crystal Palace Vs Manchester United

"the action viewed in isolation is a ridiculous challenge. Martinez is so fortunate that he doesn't contact Kamada." It went on to add that the decision was "supported as correct on the basis that the action by Martinez had been completed and no contact was made, however the panel felt very...

    Man City v Arsenal

I assume posts have been deleted cos I've seen nothing even close to the line?

    Man City v Arsenal

The FA and FIFA themselves show videoclips of incidents to assist in training of referees at all levels. Most things that happen on a football pitch CAN be put into a category with things that happened in other games. If they couldn't it would be impossible to write a book of laws as it would be...

    Man City v Arsenal

"No incident can be compared to another incident." Why even have a forum then?

I def prefer Taylor but I have ref friends that swear he is the worst in the world 😅

    Man City v Arsenal

Interesting that only referees think this, I don't know a normal football fan that agrees. Not that in itself proves anything. For me he is like an "arty" movie that people pretend is top notch to appear smarter to their peers. But hey-ho, opinions and all that. I must protest your insinuation...

    Man City v Arsenal

Do we have any indication what the 2nd caution was for? I'm fine with it being the challenge.

    Man City v Arsenal

Good that Oliver and VAR ignored the VC by Haaland after the equaliser.

    Crystal Palace Vs Manchester United

I instantly thought red. Then I was trying to justify a caution as he doesn't get the player. But it is just sheer luck. It just had to be a red card.

    St Mirren v Kilmarnock

VAR not calling the Rooney VC is right up there for worst non decisions you'll see. The very definition of VC.

Partick Thistle v Aberdeen women - handball

I think it's ridiculous to penalise this but in the name of consistency (at the top level) it should be given.

    Rice red card

    Why?

    Rice red card

I'd cringe watching a L7 referee being conned like this, looked awful from an EPL ref. That kick away by Rice happens EVERY game and nothing is done. If they're stamping it out, fine (but we all know they're not). Pretty obvious the player intended to kick Rice by anyone that has ever kicked...

Sea vs Ci / lottery of handball

I doubt he consciously took an action that is given as a penalty 80% of the time for no tactical reason whatsoever.

    Premier League Matchweek 1 discussion

That's fine if they RC for this all season, which they won't. The push before was more violent than anything Shar did.

    EURO 2024 Final - Spain V England

Ah yes. Just end the game as soon as one team goes 1-0 up then. Genius.

    EURO 2024 Final - Spain V England

Rare I've seen such a chalk and cheese two halves. Was having non of the Spanish antics 1t half. Refereed the 2nd like it was his first time in international football. Doubt England had enough to get an equaliser, but by golly the ref made sure it was never in doubt.
