As much as I LOVE a Manchester City pile on and as rare a referee decision against them has been this season, the Haaland one was a nail on penalty. I don't even think the defender glanced at the ball. City scored shortly after anyway but I'd be furious if that were against me.
Only thing I can...
Would still be preferable to each individual VAR putting his own personal interpretation on what C&O is.
You're also overstating how disruptive getting, say 3, big decisions in a game is.
Either have VAR simply "Get the right decision" or scrap it and go back to how it was.
The Frankenstein...
I'm not certain on the penalty (need a better angle) but this is so much better than the current EPL practice where premeditated murder has to take place for a ref to be sent to the monitor.
Poor AR has absolutely thrown his team under the bus. Nothing more than a brain fart. Why oh why would you put that flag up there?
Will be quiet in the officials changing room!
Read again what you just typed
Force behind a player's boot and an opponent's (who is standing upright) head being "absolutely minimum" so you're not giving a foul?!?
Using "number of VAR decisions changed in your favour" isn't a very useful measurement.

Just look at the NOT v EVE game.
The stats would show nothing wrong.
I didn't bring the "top 6" decisions up but by all means make your presence known.
I wish you were as sharp on fan comments on other clubs. Strange that.
Return fixture Pedro dived for a penalty and VAR allowed it.
Look I'm not saying Utd didn't have a season under Ole where we got a penalty every bloody game. But this season I've never seen so many major decisions go against us. Going to happen one day I guess and anyone who says it "evens...
110% foul.
Funny to think had it been allowed, certain forum dwellers that would say it wasn't a foul to preserve the sanctity of the on field decision.
My claim was "Reckon I could find 5 similar handballs than were given in the prem just this season."
This was after someone claimed there was "no case to answer" for the HB.
Whether VAR awarded them doesn't really matter.
To call that minimal/zero force I find incredible.
If you are honestly telling me you're not giving a free kick for that in the centre circle I simply don't believe you and can only assume you're continuing your regular position of backing the ref no matter what.
Young was trying to clear the...
