So today I refereed my biggest game in terms of teams when I did Bradford City U23 vs Manchester United U23.
What's your biggest game? And why? Are there any others that come close? For example today narrowly beats County Cup Final, but not on a sentimental terms.
It's making one person who gets paid to turn up and do his hobby need to have a bit of empathy to the other 30 odd blokes who perhaps want to wear black because it doesn't stain as easily as part of their hobby.
It's one shirt. Everyone's being a bit dramatic.
I also think it'll be in Contrib...
What if you had a Mexican Referee with a Spanish VAR.....logic dictates they speak in Spanish. English is the one to fall back on though obviously but there needs to be more elasticity with the policy.
Oh and can I add....let people hear the decision making process. And let the referee do the decision making in his mother tongue and translate it later
Really easy this. The system is designed to stop clubs being aggrieved at being done by a wrong decision AND television want some drama.
Take the option of reviewing it away from the referee because you are effectively having to doubt yourself and it will effect confidence
I think there's a difference between Dog and Duck Reserves vs Red Lion 3rd Team and England vs France....probably about 70k paying speccies and a few million on the tele.
