I agree.
Yes the ref sec know that certain games would be tough etc but you could get reasonable game to ref with a few Gould and few YC for assessment and get a good score but another ref could get a HARD game to ref and get a lower score just because of the level of game
This is my criteria
Must have refereed as a Level 7 Referee for a minimum of 20 games prior to applying for promotion
Must complete a minimum of 20 (11v11) matches as a Referee, of which a maximum of 6 may be at Under 18 level, during 1st of March 2013 to 28th of February 2014

Last season I replied with the normal - yeah I will be there with confirmation of my match fee and mileage etc.

We do it every Thursday evening and recently every sat AM round a cricket pitch.

As a level 7 I regularly train with level 3's and 4 and A few 2's. tonight we did the LEVEL 2 fitness test. Bloody hell. VERY HARD. I dropped out VERY EARLY.
sprint 150m in 30sec
WALK 50m 40sec
repeated 20 times!!
Works out 10laps of a 400m track!! I dropped out after 3 laps - i just cod...
Contact you local county FA and explain the situation.
I'm sure they do courses just for 5-a-side. In unsure of the cost my the CFA will advise you of this
