Might be the only coach for team and if you’ve asked them to run the line, they’re doing you a favour. Telling them they can’t then coach seems unfair. They’d just turn round and say i won’t bother doing line for you. Unless the coaching is influencing their decisions on the game just let it go.
I think the ref could have made the very easy decision of giving a FK coming out instead of going for a very weak handball. It looks clear to me Empoli player fouls Samp player.
These are fair comments and I’m not really talking about the violent conduct, punching, fighting part of it. But some yellow cards are very soft and usually a chat is enough. In truth I have no real issue with cards and maybe a game ban. I don’t really like the fine system for youth football...
I’m absolutely with you on this one and have taken some flak for voicing similar thoughts. I honestly think it’s disgusting to fine youth football. U16s should be cards only, miss games but no fines, it’s a money making exercise for local authorities.
A lot of refs are happy to issue red cards...
Do you think the AR just missed the 2nd header and made his decision off the first header. Defo off on 1st header, closer than people think even off 2nd
Im glad that was classed as deliberate play. Defender wasnt particularly stretching. Ball wasnt played at pace. No obstructions, plenty of time to see it. He made a complete mess of his header. he shouldn’t have a get out of jail free card because he messed up. Now whether Salah standing in offf...
Arteta is a strange fella. Very calm in interviews. But then for the smallest of reasons losses his 💩. At one point he’s chatting to 4th official, walks away smiling and calm and then decides to go back and start screaming at him. It was obviously not a penalty and he should know that. But not...
Trust me, I’m too old to be throwing toys, it was just getting boring and I had stuff to do. And how many times have you seen it either while refereeing or watching. I know I’ve never seen it in 50yrs. OP also later says he’s not aware of it happening and he didn’t get the caution for it. We can...
Yes I understand that but I was meaning a little bit of nipping you wouldn’t Even see. But if you see something serious then yes a card. But you’re telling the lad you know what he does and you’re watching.
I’m picturing him rolling off, being seen to by coach/medical and then just rolling back on to restart, instead of walking on. Like something kids would do 😂😂
Luckily he wasn’t live commentating over the tannoy like they seem to do in some US sports. Imagine what that would do to your game. You’ll have to post the link for us all to watch 😉
