    Manchester United vs Middlesbrough

Yes I know that.... But they can't disallow a goal by not following the rules which is what I'm saying. Did the ball go in off the players arm? No. So goal stands. That's VAR's job.

    Manchester United vs Middlesbrough

VAR protocol confuses the hell out of me as it seems depending on who is using it whether they actually follow it properly. So I've given up trying to understand what happens in Stockley Park. What I'm trying to saying is. I don't think VAR could be involved to actually rule it out with...

    Manchester United vs Middlesbrough

You can tell who are Utd fans... Rules = goal Is it deliberate? No. That's a perfectly natural position for jumping - like the rules state. Ref didn't see it, so I doubt VAR can get involved anyway? They could if he handled it directly into the goal? Rules will probably be changed again for...

    Brentford-Wolves and Frank send-off

What annoys me about this is refs take abuse all game from players which is worthy of a caution, but they never produce cards. Manager says something - boom a caution/red without hesitation. Bruno Fernandes could probably get about 5 cautions a game for what he does. Never recall him getting...

    Liverpool v Arsenal

I think there is some level of bias in the game, for and against players. Kane v Robertson - Kane is England's saviour - benefit of doubt. Mane v Tierney and Chelsea - mane never appears to get sent off for his behaviour. The stamp on tomiyahu's face against West Ham, replace that with...

    Liverpool v Arsenal

Well I was assuming it's for SFP. Surely Can't be Dogso? He chested the ball straight to the keeper/white was right there? Can't complain about the red. Xhaka is a clown. Why even attempt that? Lol

    Liverpool v Arsenal

Most comical red card of the season? Got to love Xhaka for the entertainment he gives referees. Unsure how he is a professional tbh.

    Spurs vs Chelsea

He obviously had a cheeky fiver on Kane getting that 250th goal tonight from a penalty 😉 Think the ref should have taken note of the new rules out in the AFCON tonight and ended the game at the stoppage.

    Spurs vs Chelsea

The only thing that bugged me is the ref gave them the ball about 5m away from the actual foul, thus creating a much better angle for free kick. Unfortunately, surrounding the ref is normal, until the Premier League referees actually actively book players at each occasion. Unfortunately, they...

    West Ham v Leeds

Yeah - 100% agree there was no touch, but he couldn't be any closer to the action 😂 He also leave a leg in on the keeper whilst essentially challenging for the ball.

    West Ham v Leeds

Not entirely sure how they've allowed that stand? Bowen is offside and clatters into the keeper - defo prevents him playing the ball (collecting it cleanly). Another example of it would be be nice to hear the VAR make the decision.

Eastleigh v Weymouth - Red Card

Just to spice this chat up even more. I'd put my house on this NOT being a red in the prem. Jesus grabbed the female lino last season due to offside (I think) and it was just passed off as a joke.

    Liverpool v Chelsea

I suppose the only way out of this horror show is... 1) refs view every bad incident. Or 2) VAR works as it is, but teams get 2/3 calls a match like in tennis/cricket to challenge the decision. Unfortunately both will probably still cause issues, but more importantly, both will waste sooo...

    Liverpool v Chelsea

I'd say that was very intentional. 'let them know you're there early' Did the same against Tierney last season and got away with it. That was in the first/second minute too.

    Liverpool v Chelsea

Question: If whoever VAR was checking was in the line of vision of the keeper for THAT wonder goal, is it being disallowed? No keeper ever is saving that.

    Liverpool v Chelsea

Mount defo just got away with one there. Looked a certain red.

    Man City vs Arsenal

On Gabriel's first yellow, I've watched it a few times now. Xhaka and him are pointing to the screen which showed the VAR replay. Rodri then runs in a barges all the players (4 City and 2 Arsenal (Gabriel and Xhaka) , which results in Gabriel stumbling and hitting the ref. Then the ref books...

    Man City vs Arsenal

Spot on there. Each game its different. You can almost gaurentee there will be more incidents this weekend. Sorry for the previous comment - still fuming. Arteta's incompetence at getting any form of discipline into this squad is ridiculous. Most red cards in the prem since he took over. Most...

    Man City vs Arsenal

It was more the fact that the city back line got away with numerous fouls and didn't get cautioned. City players were loving it and they made it play to their advantage.

    Man City vs Arsenal

Personally, if you are not sending the ref to VAR for the first one (Contact and penalty) then why are you sending him to VAR for the second one (minimal contact and a clear milking it dive) Ref has lost control of the match too.... It is getting messy now.
