    Palace v Man City FAC

Absolutely not a penalty. Silva collapses his legs before any contact is made.

    Palace v Man City FAC

No contact at all on that penalty. Silva collapses his legs before any contact. I hate penalties like that being given and VAR are completely useless. Ive tried to think that they’re the professionals but some of the decisions they make baffle me. And how do they just wave off the handball...

    Wolves vs City

Players are allowed to interact with the GK. At the moment of the header Sa had a perfectly clear view. So pleased to see ref not disallow goal. Not sure why VAR even sent him to the screen.

    Arsenal V Everton

Well I’d go with a simple deliberate HB. Ball definitely hit lower than arm pit and I think there’s an argument he moves arm towards ball. It was a tricky one and it looked easier to give than not. I was surprised when it wasn’t.

    Arsenal V Everton

Are they?. Not so sure. Do you not think he leans into the ball or do you think he’s trying to chest it. His arm being in expected position doesn’t negate the HB if we think he’s purposely leaned in to flick it on.

    Arsenal V Everton

What do you think it was then. Accidental or not HB.

    Dribble ins

I know a lot of you won’t do youth games but just wondered what people’s thought are on the new dribble in rule. No throw ins for 7-9s. So happy days when they hit 10 and have to learn Throw ins. I could understand a pass in but a dribble in, I’m not so sure about.

    Ars V Bou

    You’re clearly not a ref.

Havertz Penalty. Why do elite refs/VAR continue to award these. We can all see Havertz dived/dragged his leg. No fan wants these awarded. Football is garbage at times.

    WOL Vs WHU

I thought he meant the use of VAR. So they don’t use VAR at all unless an appeal goes in. Like they do in cricket.

    BHA ARS

Are we still going on about that. One has nothing to to with the other. Grow up .

    WOL Vs WHU

Look at the state of football when people are even suggesting this shouldn’t be given. He’s virtually stood on the keepers toes and got refs and pundits arguing this isn’t interference because he probably wasnt going to save it. If we aren’t calling that then might as well not call any. This...

    BHA ARS

This was an absolute nailed on penalty. I don’t even see how there’s any debate over it.

    Newcastle Vs West Ham

It’s difficult for Phillips as he’s making the kicking action as Gordon puts his foot infront. Absolutely nothing Phillips could do about it but Gordon is their first and Phillips clobbers his leg. It’s a tricky one. In slow motion it’s easy to see why it’s been given but in real time it’s a...

    Newcastle Vs West Ham

Not really sure what Gordon was thinking. Next game against Everton, maybe.

    Forest Vs Liverpool

This isn’t true. The whistle goes as the Forest player touches the ball.

Not solely responsible but he’s had a massive influence and that can’t be right.

    Forest Vs Liverpool

This showed the problem with players feigning injury to alleviate the pressure, player got straight back up. Could have even been a penalty. Forrest player clearly had the ball when whistle was blown. The difference between dropping ball to keeper or player on the wing with 90s to play is night...

    Law Changes from July 2024

That’s always been the case. And it’s still as non descript as ever.

    Manchester City v Chelsea

Initially I thought no way handball and ref couldn’t give it but think VAR should have given the little flick when it gets to his hand. He knows what he’s doing and flicks it away from dropping at city players feet. The other 3 are nothing.
