Best place to buy kit now

Thanks all, I went with a Macron kit, their sizing means I needed to go up a size or two, but it was much cheaper than the Nike kit. I know there are even cheaper options out there, but I figured that at least with a named brand you know what you’re getting and it probably won’t fall apart...

Best place to buy kit now

Where’s the best place to get kit from now? All of my kits must have shrunk while in storage, so I find myself in need of getting some new kit. Does anyone have any recommendations for a reliable place to get new kit where they aren’t going to try and take my pants down over the price?

    Liverpool Vs Arsenal

Liverpool fans, and Fulham fans trying to say it’s the same as the Mitrovic incident.

    Liverpool Vs Arsenal

You can’t compare this to what would happen if a player did something similar, because Hatzidakis isn’t a player, and the laws of the game don’t cater for possible offences by match officials. I don’t think the elbow was “forceful” and from looking at his hand (being open rather than a fist) it...

    Liverpool Vs Arsenal

But Hatzidakis isn’t a player and the laws of the game don’t cover any misconduct by match officials. I’m also not convinced it was a “forceful elbow”.

    Liverpool Vs Arsenal

It’s a difficult one, if the FA have reviewed all the evidence (I assume they have access to the audio from the mics etc) and have taken statements from Hatzidakis and Robertson etc and determined that no further action is needed then that’s that. It’s not going to please everybody, especially...

    Liverpool Vs Arsenal

Would make sense, what you don’t want is him being there and the press turning up trying to get snaps and/or people in the crowd pestering him.

    Liverpool Vs Arsenal

He should not have done what he did, whether accidental or not it was unprofessional and some form of punishment is warranted. Match officials need to be held to a higher standard than players. It does open up a wider topic of how football has come to this, particularly the behaviour of players...

IDFK and Red Card for DOGSO

IFAB posted the below to their Twitter account recently: And it got me thinking, has anyone ever had this happen in one of their games, seen it happen in a game? (Not the exact situation but where a players gets aired card for DOGSO and the opposition get an IDFK)

    Newport v Bradford keeper handball

I had a discussion with some people on a League 2 forum on Faceache. I hadn’t seen the incident so couldn’t say whether it was DOGSO or not, but there are a lot of football fans out there who genuinely think that it’s an automatic red card in the goalkeeper handles the ball outside of the area...

    no stepped approach to dissent

Personally sounds a bit soft to me, if the keeper had ran 80 meters to argue with you then that would be a completely different kettle of fish, or if he’d been chirping away for most of the match. Of course, you weren’t wrong to sin bin him, we have to deal with incidents in the way we feel...

    My game had it all

Sounds like you handled everything well from what you’ve described. I’d not pay much attention to the accusation of having an “attitude”, sounds like you could have started every sentence with pleases and ended it with thank you and the greens would have invented something to complain about...

    Lemina Red Card

No, perhaps I should have put the guidance bit in quotes.

    Lemina Red Card

You are intentionally trying to read something into it that isn’t there. It was another user who said that it was guidance from PGMOL, not me, I was just responding to a post about this alleged guidance constituting a change to “competition rules”

    SinBin Usage

I’ve been out injured all this season, but last season I probably averaged 2-3 sin bins a game. I didn’t think that I’d like them when they were first introduced, but the threat of being a man down for 10 minutes does seem to focus captains when I’m using the stepped approach. Of course...

    Referee v Manager argument

We’ve all felt like doing/saying something similar to players/managers before, and I’ve heard tales of it on the local Sunday league, but never actually seen it myself. There’s no way that the ref should have behaved like that regardless of what had happened in the match or previous encounters...

    Body Weight Training Plan Recommendations

Thanks I had a look at that. I’ve decided that I will stick to the gym, whilst also working on my CV. And when my studies finish in May/June I’ll have 3-4 months to get more work in on my running etc.

    Lemina Red Card

But this isn’t a rule of the competition, it’s just a change of guidance for referees that has come from The FA/PGMOL. I seriously doubt they did this without informing clubs, but I wonder whether clubs passed this onto their players, or if they did, whether the players were listening. Only...
