Suppose to be refereeing tomorrow morning but I’ve had no contact from the home manager about location or confirmed kick off time. I emailed my league ref contact earlier today but he hasn’t replied to me. Not sure what to do really, not gonna drive around hoping to find the game in the morning...

Hi guys, I’ve refereed a few games now and I’ve also been an assistant for a couple, and tbh I think I enjoy being an assistant more. Out of interest... Is there a way to progress through the ranks solely as an assistant, or do you have to progress only as a Ref?

So Saturday was my 2nd ever game, and again I’m pleased with how it went. One major incident that I’m pretty sure I dealt with correctly, was the CAR stuck his flag up when the striker was offside, yet the ball was played to the onside winger so I said play on... the defending team just stopped...

So this Sunday marks my first ever game as a Referee... a youth u14 game between two football league clubs! It’s been a couple months since I finished my ref course... so I need a refresh of what to do/what’s expected of me from the moment I get there. Any chance of some help/tips?
