    Women's pathway or Level 4?

What about refereeing women’s games? Is it 10?

    Women's pathway or Level 4?

Yeah, I text my RDO the other night, so expect to talk about it with him at some point in the week

    Women's pathway or Level 4?

And that’s where I would have to prioritise officiating. I assume these wouldn’t be every week?

    Women's pathway or Level 4?

Oh yeah, 100% if it got to a serious level then I would stop playing. But for now, I’m probably enjoying playing more than some games I referee. I think it’s because its a similar level, I get more enjoyment playing. If I ever got to a level where it starts getting semi-pro, I would prioritise...

    BHA ARS

I understand why it’s given, but I think it’s harsh. I think it’s a big enough touch on the ball for it to be a fair tackle

    Women's pathway or Level 4?

I have thought that. Although I’m a 5’7 striker who gets flattened every game 😂 Would just have to make sure I’m not covered in mud before refereeing. It could work though

    Women's pathway or Level 4?

One of my other concerns with the women's pathway is the games are on Sundays here. Is that common across the country? I've started playing again on Sundays and have really enjoyed it. I wouldn't want to give it up again yet.

    Women's pathway or Level 4?

Thanks everyone, really interesting to hear. Especially how only 1 out of 3 L4s got promoted

    Women's pathway or Level 4?

How come 4 over the women’s pathway in terms of reaching a higher level?

    Women's pathway or Level 4?

I achieved my L5 this season, but haven't particularly enjoyed the year. The games have pretty much been the same as I was getting as L7 because there are so many 5s here. I've never thought about it before, but would it be worth looking at the women's pathway to get to a higher level, which has...

    Leeds vs Hull

I can’t see anything against it in law, although I just had a brief look. It mentions ‘allowance is made by the referee in each half for all playing time lost in that half through: any other cause, including any other cause, including any significant delay to a restart’. Assume this would fall...

What to wear as a fourth?

Probably the first (and last) ever time he didn’t put his kit on before as well!

    Huddersfield Vs Leeds

Also, think the Pearson one was probably a red. Exactly the sort of decisions that VAR helps with. Didn’t look as high in real time

    Huddersfield Vs Leeds

He’s been good so far. Huddersfield clearly have a plan to go rough. Red card was correct but lucky it was a second yellow instead of VC

    Reffing your old team

I play on Sundays and I’ve asked to not referee a Saturday team because half of our team play for them. Apparently it isn’t technically a conflict, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable refereeing my own teammates

When to switch to Open Age?

I’d definitely get more experience first. Of course, you will ‘learn on the job’ because adult football is completely different - you can practice youth as long as you want and you’ll find different situations crop up in adults. I think just getting your authority level up and improving general...

    Another buzzer flag thread...

I’ve been in the middle of 3s a lot, so the vast majority of the time has been without buzzers. I've used them enough though to know how valuable they can be. Think I'll probably look for a good Touchline deal, although they are very hard to find!

    Thanks! Will definitely consider them
