    Toting up

RobOda has answered the question perfectly, no need for me to add to that. Your post is also factually correct. How you deliver those facts is often what defines support. And starting a rammy in a phone box? Don’t flatter yourself.

    Toting up

When someone starts with ‘probably a silly question’......... what they aren’t looking for is some smart ass reply like that. You may have just made a new ref who isn’t feeling confident even less so, you may not have. Either way, get off your high horse

Ref forgets coin in WSL, gets players to play rock paper scissors.

So a video has appeared of Ryan "pay attention to me" Hampson doing rock paper scissors at the start of his game today. I guess it's been a month or two since he was on national radio or online article and was getting itchy feet. Part of a Refsupport thing, who I am sure will probably go arms...

This is what happens when you are not in line with 2nd last defender

No margin of error? Your talking like a TV pundit. He was in a perfectly good place to make the call, he made the wrong call. Rush of adrenaline? Phased by the occasion? Bribery conspicary theory? Daydreaming about what he wanted for dinner that night? All more likely a reason that he got it...

This is what happens when you are not in line with 2nd last defender

It is physically impossible to be in line with the 2nd last defender a lot of the time. Unless you are telepathic, you can not guess which way the will move and how quickly they will move. There will be some great examples of offsides given that are correct and the AR is in a similar position to...

This is what happens when you are not in line with 2nd last defender

If you look at your screen shoot he is leaning and looking, his head is line with the defender. But that’s not important, you take a screen shot of most offside decisions in top level football, correct or incorrect one......... with the exceptions of some set pieces, the AR will be slightly...

This is what happens when you are not in line with 2nd last defender

Am I missing something here? AR is in a credible position to give an offside decision. He got it wrong, no argument about that, but I defiantly wouldn’t be criticising his position.

Junior/Youth Player walking away when trying to caution him

He would get one, maybe a 2nd warning depending on the situation. After that I would give the 2nd yellow and walk him

    Giving a red card

Only advice I would give is give the red card quicker, I understand the initial going to him if you think he is seriously hurt. But once the physio/manager/person with the sponge is there, step away. Your not there for first aid and I wouldn't encourage it unless someone is immediate danger such...

    Junior/Youth Friendly club Lino

Agree with everyone above. The referee in the middle has the final say. Every time. If he decides it's not offside, it doesn't matter why....... play on. If he's sending the wrong player off due to mistaken identity...... and you inform him, and he decides he's right and your wrong even though...

    Club assistant referee - Responsibilities.

You went with your gut at the time, so trust it. Sounds like you didn't coc* up, sounds like you may have given a player a chance to score a great goal instead of being ruled incorrectly offside.

    Arsenal v Swansea

In real time, looks like a lunge as opposed to a trip and warrants a red. In slow mo, looks more like a yellow. In summary, have no argument against the red being shown. SFP for me.

    Accrington Disallowed Goal

Crikes, I can only assume there would of been at least SOME additional time to add on. Just make that additional time a second or two longer. Blowing for time as they enter the box is one thing, as the ball is heading towards the net is another. As mentioned above, I would love to see the...

    Eventful game back

Totally disagree. This is part of the learning process in many walks of life. No matter what it is, when learning something you may be vulnerable to being talked into or out of something that you are not fully experienced in. Now if this was a level 5 it would maybe be time to reconsider...

    Language Mapping.....

There is name from the past for me, knew Julian when I was part of Melksham RA many years ago! As far as the graph at the top goes, agree with most of it. Apart from the "you're blind". Unless said in a obviously joking manner they are getting a yellow everytime for me.
