Raining yesterday, hailstones today, rain due tomorrow um!oh!aah!rrrr!....... get to pitch tomorrow ????? known to be horizontally flat.Methinks i turn up in my 65 foot yacht with the bbcue blazing away....

Have been up in the 3CR region, I sympathise. Don't quite know what it is about the pitches being so susceptible to the weather.

Very sensitive councils aswell. Broxbourne being particularly bad at calling off all games on their pitches.

Seems to be a distinct lack of drainage. When I ref over in Essex your normally see lots of slits where a machine has gone over and it works a treat.

Hertfordshire seem to have resorted to letting rabbits dig their drainage holes!
