Asst ref this evening for a friendly involving Three Bridges FC, a team currently plying their trade in the 8th tier of English Football

Cheers, monkey. Game was pretty easy from my point of view. Didn't have to flag a single offside (and hopefully got them all right :))

Game got ridiculously niggly for a 'friendly' in the second half, mainly down to the opposition, dorking wanderers, whose reputation seemed to precede them.

Ref was level 4 and he admitted that he was a little ring rusty.
 
There is no such thing as a friendly. Only preseason and post season:)
