Academy Fixtures

For those referees who do academies, or know their stuff about academies, how do you go about getting your fixtures?

I used to do a local academy, but they were just friendlies every few weeks, but looking at getting into proper academy games with referees & AR.

Academies are often linked to a county Referee Academy, in Cheshire's case they link up with Crewe Alexandra. Referees from the academy are generally appointed to 2/3 games per season. Speak to your district RDO as they nominate you to the County for inclusion. If its still the same as it was then they nominate twice a year.
