Best Hayfever Remedies

Thankfully we're in closed season, of I'd be a refereeing mess about now surrounded by at the grass and trees on a pitch.

I can't take the tablets because they knock me out...even the 'non-dowdy' ones.

The sprays don't seem to work on me at all.

Anybody got any good remedies that actually work?

For future years, eating local honey in the months before apparently builds up some protection from the pollen onslaught. Probably depends on whether it's flower or grass pollen thar really sets you off though.

The sprays never worked for me either, but for the last couple of years I've been using "Prevalin" nasal spray. It works wonders. Not cheap, but worth every penny!

Go to Boots and get the allergy relief spray NOT the hay fever one.

I'm suicidal this morning as mine has run out! My hay fever is that bad I'm on 180mg tablets! Claritin are 10mg to put that into perspective
