I've seen some poor not given offsides in my time but this nearly cost us points today. Apparently 4th told our manager that he saw it and would have told the referee it was off had it gone in????? Yellows are attacking Left!!!!

You can tell it was a let down in communication. He saw the defenders tackle but he didn't know for sure that it went off the attacker.

Definite communication breakdown as you can see the assistant stops running and switches the flag to his right hand, but then doesn't put the flag up. I would guess that the referee told him that a defending player played the ball, even though that obviously wasn't the case.
