Coin Toss

Since I qualified last June I have been giving the winner of the toss the choice of kick off or end, and the loser then gets the other option.

Junior games I ref and never been an issue but can someone tell me if I am correct in law.

Correct.

Winner of the toss gets choice of ends or he can elect to kick off.

Loser of the toss gets what's left. :)
 
Thanks Kes, thats what I thought but I was starting to doubt myself. I do love this forum for the advice and support as a relative newbie (at 48 years old).

I think I may have seen that thread last year when I joined. I like to keep things as simple as possible. Difficult enough trying to explain things like the uncontested drop ball to U11s.

Very few players at ANY level and age understand this one tbf to any 10 year olds reading this!;)
