Dribbling to score a open goal after attacher's hand touched the ball

The laws says:
It is an offence if a player ... scores in the opponents’ goal .... immediately after the ball has touched their hand/arm, even if accidental.

Suppose after the ball has touched the attacking player's arm accidentally (in natural position), then it is immediate open goal (leaving all defenders, goal keeper behind), then the attacking player dribbled several yards and then scored. Do you call it a handball?

I had a such case and disallowed the goal considering dribbling towards a open goal is no different with scoring immediately. What do you think?

As I picture what you’ve said, that sounds to be “immediate” in the sense of Law 12. But I don’t think there is a black and white answer on this.

I think immediate was there to take away the accidental HB where there is no connection to the HB, which is not the case here. If he had to go around. Defender before shooting, it would look a lot different.
