Fan knowledge (or lack thereof)

It appears the referee did not deem it a handball offence, hence he did not signal advantage or caution the 'offender'. If he had considered it an offence, the law is clear: dismissal and penalty, or advantage and caution.

This thread sums up what I see regularly from fans, loads of know-it-alls jumping down the throat of anyone that gets it correct.

What I take away from this is (generally):
a) fans and players don't know law, but are often adamant they are right
b) fans and players don't care that they don't know law and don't care to be educated
c) fans and players will abuse you based on their lack of knowledge

Just something to think about before you go out on a Saturday and Sunday...
