The assistant would have been very close to the halfway line though as play was down the other end to him, so it could potentially have been him.

Ref took a while to blow, I don't expect the AR was stationary on the halfway line, unless he flagged it for some reason.

No. Hard to see contact from that angle. Good team work. You'd expect it to be the case at this level.
