I was sooooooo looking forward to start the season with a match... But it looks like it wasn't meant to be....
So what happened? Well 2 weeks ago I've got the August fixtures, from Harrogate & District League (OA), and my first game would have been my local Boroughbridge club.
Then on Wednesday I got a change of fixture to Harrogate Fc. OK not far from me, so agreed.
This morning I got called by ref apps secretary, diverging me to yet another fixture, at Beckwithshaw. Still OK, so agreed.
I just received a call from home team to say they can't raise a team, so match cancelled.
So no game tomorrow!

give your ref sec a ring and see if there is a fixture that needs a ref!

Just did that, @SM and he says there may be a fixture available, but won't know till 10am. Is this norm or one off glitch at start of season?

@Brian Hamilton yes I did, this morning got a call from ref secretary.
2 yellow and 1 red, the away team couldn't be bothered to actually play football.
