Refereeing games before required 6

do I have to complete my 6 games, before being able to ref other games, as I've just passed and been asked to ref a game Sunday .. Unsure weather I'm an official ref yet :s

I'm same boat as you @Mark leaver I be started yesterday and next game is Tuesday. Go for it

As long as it's 11 a side then It counts. On game 10 now and all my 6 games were friendlys, believe me they are a lot easier to learn with than league games are.

When I did my referees course, the RDO said if we provided evidence of refereeing games prior to taking the course, they would also count. So a few of us on the course effectively had already done our "6 games". Just took a few calls to "remind" him to actually register me afterwards.
