The Referee Store
Unfortunately this sounds like one of those cases where because the defendant did not attend the court hearing (albeit the club say they were unaware of it) a judgement is granted to the plaintiff by default, without the merits of the case even being considered. One would hope that the verdict would be overturned on appeal.

Merits of what case???.... What merits, this is absolutely pathetic, judge should of told them to *** off and fined them for wasting court time...Idiots!!!
Next.... :poop:

Follow up.

Referee sued for sending the above mentioned player off.

The dad has decided to sue a referee for sending his son off. The child struck a referee and then used foul and abusive language towards the official. The Dad says he is being denied his human rights to abuse a referee and being emotionally bullied by having to follow rules.

As this is still an on-going matter, we’ll hold off for now.
