If i'm not given a match for the coming Sunday i always send the referees secretary an email,just stating i would still be available if needed....Never got a reply never needed...... till today.
Booked a table at a restaurant for a Mothers Day meal with the missus and little one(first time i never sent that email) At 10.55(11.00 K.O.) i get a call asking if i could do the line at a Division One match just couple miles away, although he said he'd understand if i couldnt.... well i couldnt.... ANY OTHER BLOODY SUNDAY....
