I once did an academy game and the manager thought a challenge was a clear penalty, the week after I was refereeing the same team again and before the game the manager came over to me and said, "Oh by the way ref, I looked at the video footage and you were right it wasn't a penalty and you were in the perfect place to see it too"

That has to be a first from any manager
