Not sure if others of you have picked up on this but clubs will now face some pretty significant sanctions if their players / officials are regularly picking up dissent / OFFINABUS cards or misconduct reports.

Nice to see the FA putting their money (or at least the clubs' money!) where their mouth is ....

Will only work if referees actually bother to issue cards for those offences.

Judging by the predilection of many on here to 'manage' such offences I'm not expecting the teeth to have much bite anytime soon.

I knew Christmas was just around the corner ... bah humbug and all that eh Padders .

Well, in seven Saturday middles so far this season I've given out 6 yellows for C2 and 1 Red for S6, so no such "predilection" on my part
