One of the teams from my Saturday game have kindly sent me a link of the match video recorded on one of those ball-tracking Vimeo cameras. I've not really had this before, so I'm not totally sure how to approach going through the footage, has anyone got any tips for what's best to do with this kind of recording?
I've got a few key incidents in mind that I already want to try and find: 3 x YC's, a handball no-call in the build up to one goal, a clash of heads where the restart proved contentious and a scuffle late on where one team was trying to kill time. I'm a little sceptical of focusing on positioning in this specific case due to the heat and the fact my watch tells me I ran around 1.5km less than I would normally means I already know my positioning will be less than ideal.
Would you generally just try and scrub through to these key incidents, or is there value in trying to watch what's going on in the quieter moments as well?
