Am I the only one who thinks he has done a good job as captain here especially given the context given after. He initially tries to diffuse the situation I can understand aggressive attitude yellow but a red seems very harsh to me opinions ?.

The Ref Stop
Please tell me you're joking? He runs in with absolutely no need to get involved and grabs the opposition player around the neck. On what planet is he doing a good job as captain?

He does nothing to try and diffuse things, he runs through his own players and grabs the opposition player. You've contradicted yourself by saying he tries to diffuse things but you could understand an AA caution. Aggressive attitudes don't diffuse things...

Disagree he initially diffuses then reacts to the awful comment by the other player which merits a caution.

The referee deserves great credit (despite having to wear a bib as club have black shirts 🙈). The GK deserves a red card, he’s run 30 yards to grab opposition players, does not pull his own players away.

The comment should not be made but he has inflamed the situation, if he didn’t get involved the unacceptable comments would not have been said.

Let the referee deal with the red card offence, doesn’t need all the theatrics from players and spectators.

As ref he’s captain I want him doing the initial bit and pushing his players away I will deal with them after they also had AR who doesn’t seem to help although may be dealing with coaches

Think he has provoked the situation, and hasn't made any considerable effort to mitigate the confrontation.

If not a straight red, definitely two cautionable offences in there. Right to walk.

From the amount of times these games seem to kick off, wonder they're still going...

I don’t agree but different interpretations I guess.

Why is the keeper still at the side of the pitch (and on several occasions on it) after being sent off? Shouldn't he be on the car park or in the changing rooms? How is the ref allowing so much encroachment on the pitch and how are the ARs managing to run a line with all the crowd on it? So many questions.

Why would anyone want to referee these YouTube teams. They are nothing but trouble
There's going to be a major incident sooner rather than later. If these YouTube team are going to be allowed they need to be playing at a semi-pro ground with pitch barriers and some kind of stewarding. Someone is going to get badly hurt.

I take it this is a wind up? He has gone absolutely berserk, gone clattering into players, and then has to be physically manhandled away. Just look at his bulging eyes, he has completely lost it. Even his own team mates admit he has lost it and are trying to make apologies for him doing so.
Nope as stated at first he does captains duty before the reaction also no one apologises simply give context to the ref granted if he’s on that leauge he’s probably aware of circumstances of the comment.

All a bit pathetic IMHO
I really enjoy occasional Sunday League games (tougher the better), but I had to turn that cr4p off after a few nano seconds
