I'm a referee in Australia that's been reading this forum with interest for some time. (It's a great resource so cheers.)
I've finally registered and during the registration process you have to put what level referee you are are. In Australia the entry level is a Level 4. I'm one level up from the bottom rung and what we call a Level 3.
I've checked on wiki how your levels work and I think I'm a level 6. (Senior and junior games in a country environment.) The players would be mostly amateurs with the occasional paid player.
