I have just had a conversation about refereeing and paying tax with my wife (I know, Rock 'n roll right?) and did a quick bit of Googling which brought me here. Looks a good place.
My reffing history: I qualified at 15, reffed for 6 years until I had my leg broken in 2 places (playing, not refereeing, though I have broken my wrist reffing, that is a story for another day). After a 24 year break, I decided to get back into it again and am currently 3 games in. All have been good so far, really enjoying getting back into it.
