Dissent Cautions for non playing participants.

So dissent cautions with a sin bin are different to normal cautions (a red card isn’t shown for two). If a sub is shown a yellow card for dissent and then commits a yellow card offence on the pitch are they shown a second yellow then red?

Yes. If they aren’t an ‘active player’ at the time of dissent, then it’s a standard caution.

Think of it this way, you can either receive a sin bin or a caution for dissent, subs can’t be sin binned so it’ll be the alternative

And the sub could be cautioned for dissent, then come on and be sin binned and return at the end of 10 mins providing no other offences are committed.
