Hi there!

My name is Russ and I have just completed my basic referee course under the Essex FA umbrella and wanted to introduce myself!

Although I am starting late at age 28 my goal is to referee the FA Cup Final at some point in the future and make this my career. Big goals, I know, but I like to set challenges for myself to try my best to reach! Just need to plough through the levels now. But I am looking forward to the challenges that it brings!!

what league are you under this year mate? OA football?

I am based in Southend and have signed up to referee in a couple of league. Youth and open age. Also the Southend United Referee Development Centre as well. Not sure what it will be like but hoping to get some feedback once I do some of the youth games
