What they don't show here, is that Craig Thomson stops the corner being taken initially to warn the players involved about holding.

In that context, the Hamilton player really is utterly stupid and his interview after the game about it being very harsh to penalise him for it was bizarre.

Christ, how can a player do that then act amazed when he's penalised?
Hope the cheat was cautioned as well.
 
The defenders reaction has no credibility. If you're caught with your pants down you might as well admit that it was your a@#e in the photograph.
 
But you see that reaction all the time at the top levels, I'm sure they are taught the "total bemusement" reaction in training!

Saw a few on MOTD2 last night & in Carling Cup final, when replays not only show yes it WAS a foul, but deserved the yellow card the player got as well!
