I feel like I need to post where credit is due.

Orange v Blue, Blue on the attack, player gets fouled but as he does he still manages to release the ball to his winger. Blue player right next to me shouting "Ref, Ref, Foul"

Me: I've seen it, play on advantage.

Winger drills a low ball to back post where an unmarked player taps it in.

The player who was appealing turns to me with a smile and says "Well done Ref, Great advantage there"

As I said in the title, it's the little things.

I milked an advantage for all it was worth in a cup final today. Keeper wiped out the attacker, although on the edge of the box and with lots of defenders back. Whistle goes to mouth at which point I realise the ball has fallen top another attacker who really can't miss. Cue the biggest and loudest "play on advantage" you will ever see and hear. Assistant called me Mike Dean ..!

Out of interest did you go back and rub some salt into the keepers wounds with a card?

It is a great feeling when an advantage results in a goal.
