Missing my 4th game

so 2 weeks ago I was doing a supply league line.

Jumped in the shower after the game, and my foot goes straight through the shower tray, upon further inspection I could see that it had been taped and previously damaged.

Blood every where, cut underneath my foot down the side of my foot and a huge deep cut on my heel.
Covers my entire towel with blood.
Not been able to wear shoes since (26th Sept) had to cancel 4 games so far.
Not heeling at all, so decided to go to the Drs on Tuesday, told off by her as I should have gone to A&E as it needed stitches.
Have to go back next Tuesday to have a check up.
So p155ed off, I emailed the club to advise them of the incident, and just received an email acknowledging my email and the incident, not even an apology.
So far I've missed 4 games and about £120 in match fees!!

Yes mate, reported it that night to the club and cc'd appointments officer to

Man alive. What a horrible thing to happen.

Hope it all heals up quickly.

Where there is blame, there is a claim....
Have you formally notified the league of this, cc does not count, as they may be a rule breach here. If somebody else has an incident or reports it, the club cannot say they didn't know.

No I've not. But I will do that today.

On the plus side been able to wear shorts n flip-flops to work every day!

They offer some insurance when incidents occur at games. Have a chat. It may come to nothing but according to their website there is comprehensive insurance available as part of your membership.
