Red player stood with back to goal (3 yards out) waiting for free kick to come in, blue keeper standing some 2 yards to his left and with 2 defenders on the goal line. Red team mate takes free kick, thunderbolt shot keeper doesn't even move and defenders stood on the goal line and waiting red player just opens his legs and the ball shoots through for a goal. Hence a defender shouts " he was offside ref, and blocking the keepers view " my reply " two of you standing on the line and your keeper had clear view and didn't even move" "But ref all he done was open his legs" ........ doh!
