What age? If Youth then yes - good day out and teams have a round-robin format. so say 4 teams, 12 officials, we did one middle, 2 lines and a game off.
Just make sure that it is clear before the day what you expect your match fee to be. Previously there have been costs set, the teams paid the officials then calimed it back from BPL. This year though the FA were to pay the officials direct but at the time when questions the response was " no fee was mentioned or insinuated. We said youd get your 40p per mile and thats it." So 50+ mile round trip, 8 hours and £20!
After some irate calls to Mr Blanchard et al a fair fee was paid.
If you are prepared to do it for gratis then so be it.
