Pursuant to the discussion on Advantage, the Canadian Soccer Association has released the following considerations for advantage. Use them if you want:
74 Is there a team benefit if the referee applies the advantage?
75 Does the fouled player have possession of the ball after the foul is committed?
76 Is there more of a benefit applying advantage or awarding a free kick?
77 Does the foul committed deserve a yellow card?
78 Does the foul committed deserve a red card ?
79 Is the foul committed near the penalty area?
80 Does the fouled player have space to progress?
81 Are there team-mates in a good position to pass the ball to?
82 Following advantage being applied, should referee return to administer a disciplinary sanction?
