Hi All,

We all know that tape "and any other type of material" should be the same colour as the part of the sock to which it is applied.

Do ankle guards apply to the "other type of material"?

I think they do. I would, and have asked players to either remove them completely, or place them under the sock so that they cannot be seen.

Glad to hear this is being properly enforced in our area - was in the local football store the other day, and overheard "I mean for f%@*'s sake, were they really going to pass it to me just because of my ankle guard?"
