Cant make my mind up on this, but was the red card a bit harsh on the PAOK player?

The red card was not harsh if it was, in fact, a penalty because it was an obvious goal scoring opportunity. However, I don't think it was ever a hand ball. The ball came from a short distance, quickly and the player's arm was in a natural position. I think it was unfortunate and never should've been given -- and this from a Spurs fan!

The more I look at the footage, the more I think it wasn't handball. As you said Ryan, shouldn't have been a penalty.

Yeah I agree, Ross. Had it been a handball than it had to be a red card -- he was standing on the goalline when it happened. But it was never was a handball and should have just been played on.
