My son was reffing an u14 game , he is 17. One of the parents started recording him following what she thought was a bad tackle on her son. My son completed the game but was very upset at the end due to her actions.

Is there any action possible to take in this scenario?

I think the first step would be to contact the County FA’s safeguarding team and have a chat with them about it.

The rules around filming and photography are published by The FA, and one aspect is that the lady cannot name your son if she publishes anything.
The County FA Safeguarding team or The FA are your son's first port of call.

Don't know if it applies to U18s but we were informed as part of my talk for promotion on Women's Pathway by CFA that Academy’s would most likely film and that would be informed not to only if we opt out so I assume that’s a CFA rule but it being a 17 year old might change that.
