Refereeing Shortage in Germany

I have a German friend who has said next season, their league, same standard as what I currently do, need referees for their games next season..

Is there anything stopping me from going over there and officiating? Haven’t approached CFA yet as wanted to sound out here first.

You would need international clearance from your CFA, and they would work with the German FA to map your level with the refereeing system over there. It has certainly happened before, I know an English referee who relocated to Germany and carried on refereeing there.
