From what I heard the other week the FA are looking to start and use them on Conference football, you never know it might lower down to Supply and Contrib but they are quite an expensive piece of kit to buy so referees aren't likely to buy it using their own money...
I'm planning just doing core training till my exams have finished (just over 2 weeks) then going for the cardio - niggling little ankle sprain has slowed me down near the end of this season so will work on that:)

Just wondered how other referees work in the post/pre season
I too suffer from shin splint and have just recovered from a sprained ankle - i've looked into kinesiology tape before but always feared not applying it correctly.
So we are nearly at the end of the season; I ask you this.

You're 16; their is no need to double jump. I was offered it but I rejected it due to all the comments i'd heard from referees who had done it; it catches up with you in the future as you are basically missing out on that 1 year experience of 6-5...
Personally, I would walk over caution one of the subs and tell them if you hear anything like you have previously heard then the others will be getting booked.
I've done that before when I wasn't 100% sure which sub made a comment towards me.
