Notification for new thread

@Ross I wondered if we could get sent a notification when a new thread is created, I have found that on previous occasions I have missed a thread because either someone has over lapped it in a section or I have just not seen it. Think this would be much easier for everyone?

Good idea IMO

Maybe not an email alert just a normal one? And Maybe make it optional? (if possible)
