Grabbing Knackers

I'm struggling to see any argument against VC. If someone grabs your nuts and squeezes it is done to cause you pain, how is that not in any way violent?

Add to that, these days it is also arguably going to be classed as sexual assault. Making unwanted contact with someone's genitals is the very definition of that.
It could be done to wind you up, with little force, to get a reaction out of you, that would not be violent which is why context matters.

For my money, it’s either/or. Any appeal panel with a whit of common sense is going to support either. But they don’t all have common sense. That makes me think that OFFINABUS is the safer option to survive an incompetent appeal panel.

I was basing it on the OP referencing Vinny Jones on Gazza, that certainly wasn't with very little force.

I am looking forward to @JamesL demonstrating how to grab someone's cojones in a non-violent manner.

For my beans, it's VC, doesn't matter how softly. Even if you cup someone's balls softly I'd still be thinking it's violent conduct rather than an offensive gesture. Any deliberate non-sporting contact to the pleasure garden has to be VC IMHO.

Sunday League game and the 'receiver' doesn't kick-off at the 'giver's' antics... then what do you do? Maybe even laughs it off, then what do you do?
Indeed the Jones, Gaza iconic moment typified the two characters of the game... Doubt Gazza was squealing 'Sexual Assault' over 'horseplay'
Someone always has to be the victim of something serious these days
I think even in a regular game, I'm dismissing for OFFINABUS and leaving it at that, assuming no aggravating MC or significant fallout.
Who is to say I'm wrong? Depends on 'gut feeling' in the moment, if you'll pardon the pun

IMO it's pretty easy to fondle balls non-violently - if your personal experience doesn't agree then I can only suggest you have a conversation with your significant other.

I don’t know about everyone else, but personally I would consider most cases of sack grabbing as being excessively brutal, falling under the VC definition.

In the limited cases that it isn’t I’d still be sending off, though in that case for OFFINABUS. Even if the opponent laughs it off, it seems to be basic human decency, and common sense, that you don’t grab a stranger by the balls, no matter how hard, and anyone who does is getting sent off.

Slightly off topic, but I had an incident a couple of weeks ago where a defender got hit straight in the groin area and went down (understandbly).

As I was going over to ask if he wanted treatment, an opposition striker came running over and said "let me handle this", proceeding to jiggle the defender's legs in a cycling motion, followed by a gentle massage in the stomach and inner thighs. It seemed to work and the defender was quite grateful but it goes to show that sometimes context really is key 😂
