Hi guys, I am going to be running a number of development sessions for young 16-25 year old referees next season and was wondering if anyone has any ideas for fun, worthwhile and maybe outside of the box activities I could try?

Take them to see a local midweek contrib/supply game- always good to see how experienced refs handle games.

Maybe also show them an experienced ref but at the lowest level as well.

An assertiveness session with role plays in dealing with common misbehaviour problems that cause so many younger refs to quit.

Can you all pop to watch a Padfoot game... Take a deckchair, some custard creams and a hot flask... and your camcorder!!
