    LOTG EXAM

So do we. but then again you have to scrape the barrel when you decide to hold a Youth CFA meeting on the same week as a UEFA training camp - you only get the drivel that weren't good enough....(am I banned yet?) TBH, LFA done OK with their speakers, had Mighty Phil, Kev, Howard in the last few...

    Last Week's Ref

Swearing at me = red. And last weeks ref ....... Apparently am the ONLY referee in the Womens Football League that does not allow earrings / studs etc to be taped up. Poor old Tottenham only had 9 players as 4 "could not remove" jewellery. Their coach is apparently reporting me for false...

    Semi's / Finals

You've obviosuly got it due to your match day protocol, control of the game and application of LOTG, so for you - do nothing differently. Personally - ziltch difference. A game is a game and the laws are the laws first round or final.

    Do you....?

When the ball crosses the line, play stops so no need to blow. In the case where there is doubt and people play on, then a whiste is used to stop play. So on that one - no, unless it's up for debate. Whistle MAY be used to restart play, not MUST, so corners etc as above. Removes the impact -...

    FA Cup Final 2016

Bearing in mind that officials can only do the middle (or line) once in your career, the list is smaller than you;d think. Then add in the criters for who they want, performance etc, and look at the 2 - 3 year staggered beween 4th official and the middle, my money would be between Mike, Anthony...

Not had assessors report from assessment last Saturday

My 4 last year were all 7 - 10 days, with one at nearly a month. As much as we need the assessment to know how to improve, it is the content of the asessment that goes to the annual total that matters. Sit tight, it is what it is. I'd have hoped you could probably write what was in it from...

    No Surprises

Dunno - I was on a double header, top of the table clash with the league title at steak - on m own with NO assistants. Noticed a commotion, and odd that people were still there when others had gone, then the ambulance and FB to carry him over the pitches and stream in the middle. Had it...

    No Surprises

Now we all say that we don't want an "surprises". You know, the assistant flagging for a PK when NOONE is asking for it, the straight red for something that only you have seen, or the giving of a goal when it was no-where near going over. But why? Is it becuase you may lose match control? is it...
